As a child of the 80’s, I was weaned on a steady diet of John Hughes flicks. Mr. Hughes was in tune with the culture of that time and made sure to have some the best movie soundtracks of all time. Ferris Bueller’s Day Off is arguably the pinnacle of his career.
As Ferris heads towards the middle of his “day off”, he finds himself in a parade in the middle of downtown Chicago. He doesn’t waste his opportunity and decides to do an awesome rendition of “Twist and Shout” by the Beatles. Thus commences one of the most memorable moments of 1980’s teen flicks.
